Woman arrested for killing husband's second wife in Dombivli

A 30-year-old woman named Rohima Islam was arrested for killing her husband's second wife, Aysha Khan, who was 25 years old. The incident took place in Dombivli last year in December. Rohima was angry with Aysha because her husband had married her against Rohima's wish and started neglecting Rohima and her family.

The police initially suspected Kareem, Rohima's husband, behind the murder as he had gone missing. However, the police later traced Kareem's residence in West Bengal and found out that Rohima was behind the killing. Rohima confessed to the murder during interrogation and also revealed that her nephew, Rana Mallik, 19, had helped her in the act.

Rohima and Rana were arrested and produced in the Kalyan court, which remanded them in police custody for eight days.
