Crime Patrol: 3 Meerut men held for triple murder (Episode 704 on 2nd Sep, 2016)


Triple murder case solved by Haridwar police

The Haridwar police arrested three persons from Motichur parking on charges of triple murder. The accused, Vakil, Akbar, and Chand Mohammed, were truck drivers who used to carry goods for Coca Cola depot. The three confessed to their involvement in the murder case.

The incident took place in the Jhabri Peer jungle area near the Tibdi bypass, a few kilometers from Chandracharya square. The accused had gone to a mazar in the forest area when they met a 40-year old woman, Sheela. They attempted to molest her, but when Kanti Devi tried to save her, they killed her with a stone. They also chased Sheela and killed her by strangulating her with her dupatta.

The police team recovered a country-made pistol and a wooden stick used in the crime from the forest. They also found Ram Asrey's mobile phone in the possession of one of the accused. The police team comprised of City Kotwali in charge YPS Bhadauriya, Sub-Inspector Girish Chand Sharma, and several others.
