Man Allegedly Shoots and Kills Five Over Land Dispute

A tragic incident unfolded in Khanpur village, Bulandshahar, as a 35-year-old man allegedly shot and killed five individuals, including his elder brother and three nephews, in a dispute over land. The victims were identified as Nehal Singh (50), his sons Rahul (20), Bobby (17), and Raja (13), as well as their neighbor Aneeta (30). Nehal Singh's sister-in-law, Ram Shree (35), sustained injuries and is currently hospitalized in stable condition.

The accused, Naresh Singh, was apprehended by the Bulandshahar police, who also recovered the licensed rifle used in the crime. According to Assistant SP (Rural) Ajay Kumar Sahni, Naresh killed Aneeta when she attempted to intervene. The dispute between Nehal Singh and Naresh revolved around a piece of land that Naresh had been demanding from his brother.

The sole surviving member of Nehal's family is his wife, Veerwati, who managed to escape the house before Naresh arrived. The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
