Retired Senior Accountant Allegedly Gives Contract to Kill Son in Gujarat
Police in Gujarat have arrested a retired senior accountant, Naran Vasoya, for allegedly giving a contract to kill his own son, Dipesh Vasoya, who was found dead in a ditch in the Raiyadhar area. Two other suspects, Mansukh Vadoliya and his nephew Ravi, were also arrested for carrying out the alleged murder. Naran reportedly suspected that Dipesh was not his biological son and had also purchased insurance policies in his name to claim the insurance payout. Dipesh was allegedly killed for multiple reasons including his frequent physical altercations with his father.
According to city police commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot, Naran was the key conspirator and had contacted Mansukh, who had previously done masonry work at Naran's home, and offered Rs 5 lakh for the murder. Mansukh and Ravi confessed to the murder after they were found in possession of Dipesh's mobile phones. Police have arrested all three suspects and are investigating the case further.
