Third Accused Arrested in Pipli Gang Rape Case in Bhubaneswar

The crime branch police have arrested the third accused, Premananda Nayak, in the Pipli gang rape case from village Orkal near Pipli in Bhubaneswar. The medical examination of Premananda has been conducted, and he will be produced in court on Wednesday. The other two accused were nabbed from their hideouts in the vicinity of Pipili.

All the accused have been booked under several sections of the IPC along with Section 3 of SC and ST (Prevention of atrocities) Act. The victim's parents have refused to give their consent to shift their daughter from the Cuttack Hospital to Delhi. The tehsildar is supposed to file an affidavit in the Orissa High Court on Wednesday stating why the parents are refusing to send their daughter to New Delhi.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and calls for stricter laws and enforcement to prevent such heinous crimes against women. The Chief Minister has assured stringent action against the guilty in the Pipli gang rape case and will review the case on Wednesday. It is crucial to create awareness and educate people, especially women and girls, about their rights and how to protect themselves from such crimes. The incident is a wake-up call for all of us to work towards creating a society where women and girls can live with dignity and respect.

I really sympathize with laxmi and her parents and also sabita's parents. All the three accused along with the politician should be given death sentence so that no one else will even try to think abt doing such crimes in future.

I think people should be brave like sabita. The three accused should be punished severely.
